The thundering debut of the GT-500 was the big Ford news for 1967. The larger Mustang had room for a larger engine, so Shelby loaded it with a 428 cid. power plant with twin four-barrels, capable of 355 hp. Exclusive Shelby signatures included the wide wind-split hood scoop, fiberglass body panels, center grille-mounted high beams, and even a pop-open gas cap. This sweet Candyapple Red version includes a black interior, and Magnum 500 rims with Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires.
