In 1968, the 442 became a seperate series apart from the F85 and Cutlass lineup. The 442 featured plus interiors in either cloth or vinyl with a variety of options ranging from cruise control to power windows and AM/FM stereo systems. Performance was still a vital element of the package, making the 442 one of Detroit's most popular musclecars.
